David B. Sosin Elected the 143rd President of the Illinois State Bar Association
Attorney David B. Sosin, partner at Sosin, Arnold & Schoenbeck Ltd., was installed as the 143rd President of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) at the organization's 143rd Annual Meeting on June 14 at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
ORLAND PARK, Ill., June 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Founded in 1877, the Illinois State Bar Association Founded is the premier legal association in the state. As a voluntary organization of over 29,000 members, the Association's primary focus is to assist Illinois lawyers in the practice of law and to promote improvements in the administration of justice.
David received a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Illinois and his Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law. He has served as Village Attorney for the Village of Crestwood, Ill., for more than a decade, and he practices in all areas of auto dealership representation, real estate law, and zoning law. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.

David was elected to the Illinois State Bar Association's College of Laureates in 2011, joining a select group of lawyers to hold this distinct honor. He is also honored to have received both the David Hilliard Award from the Chicago Bar Association and the Board of Governors Award from the Illinois State Bar Association for distinguished service. David has served as Past Chair of the Insurance Committee, the Bar Services Committee, the Minority and Women's Participation Committee, and previously as the 2nd Vice President of the Illinois State Bar Association. In addition, he is the Past President of the Illinois Bar Foundation and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the ISBA Mutual Insurance Company.
