David Shuster Helms Horizon Goodwill Industries As Interim CEO
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (PRWEB) September 14, 2018 -- CEO John McCain has tendered his resignation from Horizon Goodwill Industries effective September 28, 2018. McCain has accepted a new position at Easterseals of Southern Georgia. In the interim, David Shuster, Ed.D. will be the acting CEO of Horizon Goodwill Industries.
Shuster has been with Horizon Goodwill since 2013, first as an Associate Director and promoted to Director of Operations in 2016. He has helmed Horizon Goodwill’s facilities operations of 22 locations across 17 counties in MD, WV, VA, and PA with an outstanding record of compliance and safety.
The Horizon Goodwill Board has formed an Executive Search committee that will retain a 3rd party recruitment firm with the goal of selecting a new CEO by February 2019.
