DC Systems Adds Vice President of Channel Sales to Expand Access to Industry-Leading Products for Control and Optimization of Distributed Grid Assets
Dave Thomas brings 20+ year career in distribution automation to lead partner development
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Nov. 2, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- DC Systems today announced the appointment of Dave Thomas as the company's Vice President of Channel Sales. As Vice President, Mr. Thomas will implement DC Systems' go-to-market strategy and lead development and management of its partner relationships, including Landis + Gyr. He will be responsible for driving revenue growth in key market segments while overseeing relationships with strategic partners, value-added resellers and rep firms.

His 20+ year career in the power market includes sales leadership positions with Rad Data Communications, Ametek Power Instruments and GE Digital Energy, all of which are global power market and smart grid application focused.
Mr. Thomas brings particularly relevant experience to DC Systems from a career of successes, including developing a market-leading optical communications business for GE, designed specifically for the utility market, and creating a go-to-market strategy for Ametek Power Instruments, which drove double-digit growth for a broad range of products focused on power quality, revenue metering, protective relaying and smart-grid applications.
