“We’re honored to be teaming with Border States, among the most powerful utility channel partners in the nation and pride ourselves in earning the trust of a company that insists upon supporting only the most trusted, best-of-breed products for their customers” - DC Systems CEO, Kenneth Munson.

DC Systems, a leading provider of energy management software for power systems and grid-operators, is pleased to announce a reseller agreement with Border States Electric (BSE), the seventh-largest electrical distributor in North America. The newly announced deal will allow for even greater market penetration of the industry’s leading software for real-time grid and renewable management, leveraging the resources and expertise of a leading supply chain partner with coast-to-coast sales channels and deep experience in supporting energy management solutions and services.

The relationship also marks the continued expansion of the DC Systems platform, bringing a suite of energy intelligence products already trusted by the nation’s largest utilities into smaller, more diverse energy markets around the nation. The offer enables complex energy data, renewables, grid software and controls to be managed in a way that makes sense for today’s utilities seeking the next generation in DER management and control.

“Aligning with strong business partners has been critical to our growth and success,” says Gerald Buck, Senior VP of Utility Sales for the company. “This move to provide our utility customers with DC Systems’ smart grid automation and real-time data management software solutions will help strengthen our reputation even further as an innovative leader in the utility supply chain industry.”

This new, non-exclusive relationship with Border States adds to the company’s market potential, bringing DC Systems’ comprehensive product package into all 50 states, and to all markets, for the first time in the company’s 30-year history. Rural electric co-ops, municipalities, and Investor Owned Utilities of all sizes can now benefit from DC Systems products for data acquisition, substation management, distribution automation, transmission and distribution, enterprise data management, power generation, and renewable generation and energy storage.

“We’re honored to be teaming with Border States, among the most powerful utility channel partners in the nation and pride ourselves in earning the trust of a company that insists upon supporting only the most trusted, best-of-breed products for their customers,” said company CEO Kenneth Munson. “DC Systems’ products are designed to address challenges we face today and tomorrow and providing these tools for real-time energy decision-making will help support the growing need for stronger, more resilient energy management, from rural energy cooperatives up to our nation’s largest utilities.”
