Using the HCC calculator, subscribers can easily calculate risk scores for an individual patient or process cases in bulk. The calculator supports four risk adjustment methodologies:
- CMS-HCC—used to calculate risk scores for Medicare beneficiaries
- ESRD-HCC—used to calculate risk scores for beneficiaries with end-stage renal disease
- Rx-HCC—used to predict Medicare Part D plan liability costs for prescription drugs under the Part D program
- HHS-HCC—used to calculate risk scores for Affordable Care Act beneficiaries
