From there, users can order a custom report of recommendations for a small fee. The intelligence in the report replicates much of the typical security risk assessment process using logic and inference, based on decades of cybersecurity and compliance experience. The CMMC Interim Rule takes effect today, December 1st, 2020. Shortly, the Department of Defense is expected to announce the names of 15 pilot contracts which require CMMC certification at the appropriate level. It is anticipated that those contracts will require work from over 1,500 subcontractors, all of whom will require certification.
