Delta-Energy Group LLC has obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification for its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Natchez, Mississippi with respect to the company’s Quality Management System of processing end-of-life tires to recover carbon black, solvents and other related chemical products, effective July 1, 2019.
At the end of 3Q 2019, the Delta-Energy facility in Natchez will be capable of processing rubber from as many as 3 million tires annually. The patented process yields about 11,000 tons of recovered carbon black and 90,000 barrels of liquids and solvents.
According to Delta-Energy CEO, Jeffrey Flannery, “The adoption of a quality management system is a strategic decision for the organization that helps improve overall performance and provides a basis for sustainable development initiatives. We believe our products are technically superior, however many existing and potential customers prefer or require vendors with ISO certification. This new ISO status widens Delta Energy’s potential customer base.”
