Demand for Unique Travel Curation in China Takes Off

This segment of travellers may be small in terms of their number, but they are fast growing. A new billionaire emerges every other day in Asia, according to a joint report by UBS and PricewaterhouseCoopers. In China, two billionaires are created every week. Unlike the previous generation of travelers with family wealth, Greater China’s emerging ultra-wealthy are predominantly self-made. As the first-movers in the industries where they made their extraordinary wealth, they also seek travel experiences that are first-of-its-kind. L’VOYAGE for example, chartered a Boeing BBJ 787 VIP Dreamliner for eight travelers from Hong Kong in 2017, the first private jet charter arrangement of its kind in the world.
