Maj. of the Army Michael Grinston hosted a virtual ceremony at the Department's headquarters in Washington, D.C. recognizing Demco Automation for its second consecutive Gold Medallion Award. As part of the 2020 HIRE Vets Medallion Award Program all recipients were honored for their commitment to recruiting, hiring and retaining veterans.
The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) is the only federal-level veterans' employment award that recognizes a job creators' commitment to hiring American military veterans.
This year, the company is recognized as one of only 27 within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and 675 across the country.
