James Nick, who previously served as Chief Revenue Officer, has been named Chief Operating Officer for DCA. Nick will oversee multiple support functions that help ensure growth for DCA's allied practices, including operations, marketing, analytics, and insurance contracting and management.
James joined Dental Care Alliance in March 2018. Prior to DCA, he was Director of Specialty Products at Humana. His major responsibilities at Humana were provider network development and ensuring financial and membership growth for non-medical product lines. During this time, James oversaw significant growth in both provider network scope and dental product profitability. James had been with Humana for nearly 12 years with responsibilities spanning pricing, analytics, market management, underwriting, network development, and strategy during that time.
James holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Business Administration Degree in Healthcare Management from St. Norbert College.
He served on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters for 6 years, including 3 years as President. James also previously served on the Mayor's Young Professional Advisory Council, is a graduate of Leadership Green Bay, and a recipient of the Future 15 award from the Greater Green Bay Chamber.
