Local entrepreneur Derek Stafford is pleased to announce the launch of his new business, Fresh Coat Painters of Carolina Shores.

Fresh Coat Painters offers residential and commercial painting services including interior or exterior painting, deck sealing and staining, pressure washing, popcorn ceiling and wall paper removal and other services for nearly every protective coating application. Fresh Coat Painters of Carolina Shores has a 24/7 receptionist, online scheduling and free detailed quotes, and they only use high-quality materials. Prior to opening Fresh Coat Painters of Carolina Shores, Stafford spent 18 years in the lighting and traffic pole industry, as a regional sales manager, national sales manager and then vice president of sales and marketing. Although he had a successful corporate career, Stafford always wanted to open his own business. Stafford and his wife, Robin, have a daughter, Olivia, two sons, Jordan and Jeffrey, and two grandchildren, Hilde and Jett. Stafford lives in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina.

“When we moved to this community, we spent a lot of time and energy trying to get our house painted. We saw the challenges the industry faced – and the opportunity to bring a more professional company to this area. It’s finally time to pursue that dream and I’m looking forward to being painting solution people in this area have been looking for,” Stafford said.
