Developing Tomorrow's Leaders within the APIA Community and with Corporate Support
APIA Scholars launched another year of the Elevating Leaders Summit with support from corporate partners including McDonald's, Toyota, and Wells Fargo and with a focus on understanding identity, culture, and values, building community, and cultivating authentic leadership skills for Asian & Pacific Islander American (APIA) students.
WASHINGTON, July 27, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This July 27 - 30, 2021, APIA Scholars will once again launch the Elevating Leaders Summit (ELS). This Summit is a 4-day, virtual leadership development program for students in the Asian and Pacific Islander American community. This program centers on understanding identity, culture, and values and building community. The content of this session aims to cultivate authentic leadership skills as students continue their journeys into higher education. Through interactive workshops, small group discussions, and informative keynote speakers, Scholars will learn from community leaders, Alumni, and professionals to develop a sense of unity and belonging among the APIA Scholars community.
