DF/Net Research, Inc. (DF/Net), an experienced healthcare technology company providing eClinical solutions and data management services, announced today its expansion into Africa with the formation of DF/Net Research Mzansi (Pty) Ltd.
DF/Net has partnered with organizations in Africa for over 16 years. The relationships built in this continent remain as some of the most important in DF/Net's history. For both non-profit and industry clients, DF/Net services and software have supported global health research throughout Africa and around the world. DF/Net recently joined with our African partners to launch a COVID-19 treatment trial in South Africa.
DF/Net's connection to Africa deepened in 2019 by awarding the DF/Net Impact grant to four outstanding organizations across Africa. This grant aims to develop and maintain skilled data management staff and the organizational capacity necessary to sustain ongoing local clinical research.
Lisa Ondrejcek, President of DF/Net Research, shares that "DF/Net has supported clinical research in Africa for many years. We understand the challenges faced by our clinical research colleagues in the region. Officially expanding our footprint into Africa emphasizes our commitment to the development of local skills and expertise for the betterment of global public health."
DF/Net Research Mzansi operations include a clinical research team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The group consists of local experts that leverage DF/Net's experience and expertise in eClinical solutions and data management services. The ability to provide support in African and European time zones also allows DF/Net to deliver an elevated service level to existing clients.
