Diameter Health Continues Pennsylvania Expansion with New ClinicalConnect HIE Partnership
Leading Health Information Exchange to Implement Diameter Health's Data Normalization and Enrichment Platform
FARMINGTON, Conn., Nov. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Diameter Health, a leading enabler of clinical insight through the cleansing, de-duplication and enrichment of clinical data across the care continuum, has announced that ClinicalConnect HIE, western Pennsylvania's health information exchange (HIE), has selected the Fusion, Analyze, and Quality applications to automate processes and standardize data interchange between payers, providers, and other constituents. ClinicalConnect HIE joins the ranks of Diameter Health's other Pennsylvania-based HIE customer, HealthShare Exchange of Southeastern Pennsylvania (HSX).
ClinicalConnect HIE was established to connect clinicians with electronic medical records to help improve patient care delivery. Now covering more than 3.7 million patients across the region, ClinicalConnect HIE was seeking a solution that would optimize data quality and data exchange across its network of provider organizations. Using the Diameter Health platform, ClinicalConnect HIE will help enable faster patient care, reduce unnecessary testing and improve care management for its customers, like the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) health system.
