About the Author
Mike Macy specializes in CranioSacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, and Myofascial Release. The second massage therapist ever hired by the U.S. Air Force, he used his manual skills and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, the human psyche, energy and the body-mind connection to help injured personnel from all five branches of the U.S. military and the Royal Canadian Air Force return to active duty. Licensed as a massage therapist in Oregon and Alaska, Macy does hands-on treatments as well as distance healing via phone and the internet, and is also trained in therapeutic massage and acupressure. He has a master's degree in English literature and has written articles on Alaskan history, geography, geology, natural history and environmental issues for regional and national publications.
