Cutter Aviation, the world’s oldest, continually family-owned and operated FBO network, selects Mvix as their digital signage provider. The digital signage screens throughout Cutter Aviation’s impressive FBO network will deliver an enhanced guest experience, improve branding efforts and increase guest engagement opportunities.

Founded in 1928, Cutter Aviation is the world’s oldest, continually family-owned FBO and aviation service company. Operating in eight major airports in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas, Cutter Aviation provides a wide range of services to transient and based aircraft including fuel and FBO service, maintenance, avionics, new and pre-owned aircraft sales and charter and aircraft management. They are also a proud dealership of major aircraft brands such as Piper, Socata and HondaJet.

Business practices rooted in Cutter’s core values of respect, trust, and integrity have ensured that they maintain a position of leadership in the general aviation community. In the 87 years that Cutter Aviation has been in business, they have continued to be synonymous with excellent service. As one of the most respected FBO brands in aviation today, Cutter remains strong due to an unwavering commitment to customer service and customer and employee satisfaction. It is this commitment to exemplary service that led Cutter Aviation to explore digital signage.

“It is all about the guest’s experience,” said Genaro Sanchez, Cutter Aviation’s Director of Marketing & Communications. “We want to WOW our guests from the moment they step in the lobby.” Digital signage interacts with guests in a way that traditional signage could not. Today’s technologically savvy customers demand more, expecting companies to stimulate them intellectually and emotionally. “Digital signage is evolving the face to face delivery mechanism and we want to reach our clients in a medium that not only adds value to our message, but adds value to their overall experience as well,” added Genaro.

Digital signage not only eliminates the costs related to traditional signage but also enhances site appeal and branding efforts. With the digital display screens, Genaro and his team are able to engage with visitors using dynamic content that is visually stunning and memorable. The screens are also used as virtual assistants to entertain clients as they wait, promote additional services, display product pictures and videos, as well as promote aircraft inventory. They are designed to take customers on distinctive adventures that create exceptional engagements with the brand.

“We reviewed quite a number of digital signage providers before choosing Mvix,” said Genaro. “I am very impressed by the features of their solution. We can easily display dynamic content such as images, high-res videos and even pull content from our website!” Mvix’s simple user interface and the ease of updating content are two other features that appealed to Cutter Aviation. With systems in seven of their eight locations, Genaro wanted a solution that offered centralized control and remote management, and Mvix delivered. “We command the signage network from our Arizona location, delivering customized content and schedules to each of the 7 locations.”

“Cutter Aviation is a pioneer in the aviation industry and it is easy to see that their customer-centered approach is paying off,” said A. Jay, the Mvix Sr. Director of Business Relations. “They’ve clearly recognized the role digital signage plays in shaping the guest experience, and we are very honored that they selected us to equip their state-of-the-art facilities with digital signage systems.”

Genaro agrees, “We're very impressed by how the solution has performed, and we plan on adding more systems to our facilities!”
