William E. Scott shares World War II facts in ‘The Essential World War II Quiz Book’

Filled with interesting facts not usually found in history classes, William E. Scott’s World War II quiz book titled “The Essential World War II Quiz Book” (published by Archway Publishing) aims to interest military buffs and students of all ages.

Testing the readers’ knowledge of virtually all aspects of World War II, the book includes 10 different categories, one per chapter. The various topics pose questions about Adolf Hitler and the rise of Nazi Germany, the battles and campaigns which took place in Europe and the Pacific, and the leaders, both military and civilian who ultimate influenced the outcome of the war. The chapters posing queries about the conflict’s major players include political figures such as FDR, Winston Churchill, Joseph Stalin, and Charles de Gaulle and military figures like Dwight Eisenhower, George Patton, Isoroku Yamamoto, and Erwin Rommel.
