Written over a period of two years, Kelly had no intention of publishing a book until his fellow writers from his writing group encouraged him to do so. A noose was encircled around her neck. They're going to lynch my mother, Terry wailed out. Those fucking son of bitches. This is the sort of thing the Nazis did, but then there was a war going on. Then he realized it was 1946, and there was still a war going in the USA. It was a war between bigoted whites and those trying to improve the human rights of blacks.
"GOOD OLD UNCLE SAM AND OTHER SHORT STORIES" is a mixture of entertainment and suspense with substantial subjects told in each piece. About the Author
Sid Kelly spent 55 years working as a mechanical engineer. Seven years were spent as a miller and turner apprentice while attending college. He spent 48 years working on designing a high speed automation equipment. He has published three books and produced two sets of judo DVDs. In retirement, he gives judo clinics, attends writing classes, writes short stories and judo related matter and teaches English as a second language (ESL). He lives with his Swiss born wife, Rita, in West Haven, Connecticut. They have two children, Susan and Tom, and three grandsons, Beau, Atticus and Thaddeus.
