The PowerMod™ HVPM Series High Voltage Pulse Modulator is a solid-state unit that lets users customize voltages from 10 to 30 kV, pulse widths from 1 µS to D.C., and current up to 500 A. Delivering up to 99% efficiency and protecting high voltage loads, it can open in less than 1 µS if it detects a fault and is an ideal replacement for thyratrons and switch tubes.

Air insulated and water cooled, PowerMod™ HVPM Series High Voltage Pulse Modulators operate on 110 VAC, and are 19” rack mountable. Applications include the generation of vacuum and atmospheric plasmas, semiconductor production, surface sterilization, materials modification, and R/D.
