US native Rick Aguilar joins Divi Dive Bonaire's award-winning team on Bonaire.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Nov. 3, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Divi Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino and the resort's PADI 5-star SSI dive facility, Divi Dive Bonaire, are excited to welcome Rick Aguilar to the team as the new Dive Operations Manager. Aguilar is no stranger to the sea – he's been diving for nearly 20 years and has plenty of experience working in the diving industry.
Hailing from the United States, Aguilar has lived on Bonaire three separate times and has been visiting the island since 1996. He originally got hooked on scuba diving over two decades ago after his first lesson, and just two years later, he became a dive professional. Aguilar says he can't wait to start his new adventure at Divi Dive Bonaire.

In addition to managing the dive operation and leading the dive team, Aguilar will also oversee efforts to restore the resort's famed Calabas house reef in partnership with Reef Renewal Foundation Bonaire (RRFB), a nonprofit organization working to protect and restore Bonaire's coral reefs.
