Denver, CO (PRWEB) November 29, 2013 -- DMV.us.org is about to release an annual driving safety study outlining what violations are the most dangerous on the road, the company said yesterday.
“Protecting our customers is our primary job,” a DMV.us.org spokesman said. “One way to do that is to use the information in our database to help people realize just how dangerous some of their behaviors are on the road. That will be the goal of this study. If you know what actions are mostly likely to kill you or send you to the hospital, you can alter your driving to help keep safer on the road.”
The study will be created by cross-referencing the driving records data DMV.us.org has access to with public documents relating to accidents on the road, he said.
“All of the information is out there and available to the public,” he said. “The problem is just taking the time to collate the data into a meaningful study. That's what we plan to do. We think it will be a valuable public service.”
DMV.us.org will make the information available on the members' area of their site. Later they will also publish it through their social media channels and on their blog.
“This is the kind of information that we think has the potential to save lives,” he said. “Therefore, as a good corporate neighbor we think we need to get it out there and let people learn from it.”
