Swinerton is pleased to welcome Senior Vice President Don Adair to the Executive Committee as Chief Relations Officer, Executive Vice President.
“Our relationships are the foundation of our company,” Adair said. “We established the CRO position to build on our relationships with our customers, align our resources, and capitalize on the strengths of our people. I look forward to serving our company in this new role and partnering with everyone both internally and externally as Swinerton continues to grow nationally.”
Don started his career with Swinerton in 1988 as a Project Engineer with the Los Angeles division where he was involved in high-profile projects such as the Huntington Ritz Carlton in Pasadena and Sony Studios in Culver City. In 1995, he joined the newly-established San Diego division as an Operations Manager and was a key part of the core team that helped Swinerton develop into a local market leader.
Don was promoted to San Diego Division Manager in 1999 and helped guide the team to success with landmark projects at the Omni Hotel, Hotel del Coronado, UC San Diego, and more. In 2009, Don was promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager, where he helped oversee operations in Southern California, and the newly formed Renewable Energy division. In 2011, he was appointed to the Swinerton Incorporated Board of Directors.
