The ground-up rebuild delivers up to 4× faster core screens, 70+ rebuilt reports and five operational dashboards — laying the foundation for software that does more of the work
MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- DoorLoop, the #1 user-rated property management software company, today announced DoorLoop 2.0, a ground-up rebuild of its platform, now available to all customers.
Rather than continue layering new functionality onto an existing platform, DoorLoop rebuilt it from the ground up — creating one connected system for the information, decisions and actions required to run a portfolio. The result is a faster, more connected platform designed to scale as property management businesses grow.
A rebuild, not a redesign
DoorLoop 2.0 changes how work moves across the platform, from finding a record to understanding what needs attention and taking action.
- Core screens load up to 4× faster. DoorLoop rebuilt the underlying platform so the screens teams use every day respond significantly faster.
- Search now reaches across the portfolio. Global search finds tenants, units, invoices and files, including specific records by reference ID or bill reference number.
- The entire product works as one system. Navigation, Create New, transaction dialogs and Settings have been redesigned together, creating a consistent experience across DoorLoop.
- Work stays in context. Contextual drawers let teams view related information and take action without constantly moving between screens. Saved views, grouping and bulk actions make it easier to manage work across many records at once.
- More than 70 reports were rebuilt from scratch. Reports now run up to 10× faster, with custom and saved reports, column controls, grouping, subtotals and drill-down capabilities giving teams more control over how they analyze their business.
- Five new operational dashboards bring the day-to-day into one view. Rent collection, bill pay, maintenance, renewals and leasing each have a dedicated dashboard showing performance, outstanding work and what needs attention next.
The changes are designed to become more valuable as a portfolio grows. Instead of forcing teams to navigate more screens as the business becomes more complex, DoorLoop 2.0 brings related information and actions together and makes it easier to work across many properties, units and records at once.
Customers stayed with the new experience
DoorLoop rolled out 2.0 progressively before making it available to its full customer base. Approximately 94–96% of users who received the new experience stayed on DoorLoop 2.0 during the rollout.
"My team is loving DoorLoop 2.0. The UI/UX improvements alongside the performance upgrades, especially the AP dashboard and the enhanced global search, have made a noticeable difference in our daily operations," said Lance Hancock, founder of Regal Management. "After 2+ years on the platform, I'm thrilled with DoorLoop's trajectory."
The new operational dashboards are also becoming part of how customers run their day-to-day work. Maintenance has emerged as the stickiest dashboard, with 55% of users returning to it repeatedly.
The adoption follows years of customer recognition for DoorLoop's usability. DoorLoop is ranked #1 best property management software on Capterra's 2026 Shortlist and #1 for customer satisfaction and usability on Software Advice, and holds a rating of 4.8 or higher out of 5 across more than 700 Capterra reviews.
From software you operate to software that does more of the work
The rebuild also sets the foundation for DoorLoop's next shift.
Property management software has traditionally been a place where teams record information, find what needs attention and then do the work themselves. DoorLoop is building toward a different model: software that can increasingly carry that work forward.
Because DoorLoop's AI operates inside the same product that holds a company's accounting, leases and payments, it can work from the business context already inside the platform rather than operating as a separate layer. Property managers decide the rules, boundaries and level of control.
DoorLoop 2.0 provides the foundation for that model: one connected system where the record of the business and the intelligence acting on it live together.
"Property managers already trust DoorLoop to run the financial and operational side of their business," said Ori Tamuz, CEO and co-founder of DoorLoop. "DoorLoop 2.0 rebuilds that foundation around how they actually work — faster, more connected and designed to scale with them. But what excites us most is what that foundation makes possible. We're moving toward a world where property managers don't have to log in to push every task forward themselves. The software can do more of the work, while they decide the rules."
Founded in 2019, DoorLoop has raised more than $130 million from investors, including a $100 million Series B led by JMI Equity. Today, more than 10,000 paying customers use DoorLoop to run accounting, leasing, maintenance, payments and other property management operations. The company has more than 200 employees across offices in Miami Beach, New York and Tel Aviv.
