BALTIMORE, Sept. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The 17th annual National At-Risk Education Network (NAREN)-TranZed Conference with theme "Resilience Realized: Braiding Academics, Behavior and Culture to Build Extraordinary Brains" will be held Oct. 16 and 17, 2019, at the Baltimore Convention Center at 1 W. Pratt St. in Baltimore.
Internationally renowned educator and author of over 30 books focusing on brain research and education strategies, Dr. Eric Jensen, will make a rare East Coast appearance as the opening keynote speaker. Horacio Sanchez, president and CEO of Resiliency Inc., a leader in helping schools improve school climate and instruction by showing how the brain shapes student behavior, will be the keynote speaker on day two. Dr. Bryan Harris, author and educator who has trained more than 18,000 educators to increase student engagement and achievement, will conduct a plenary session.
The conference is designed for educators, clinicians, counselors and leaders as well as other child-serving professionals who work with children in the U.S. and internationally. Certificate of attendance for all attendees and Category 1 Social Work CEUs are awarded.

Once again this year, Authoring Action, an organization that provides tools to youth for their personal success in any career, calling and life path, will participate. Brief talks will also be used to expose participants to some of the most innovative ideas in education.
