Dr. Ramin Fathi to join Southwest Skin Specialists, now a part of U.S. Dermatology Partners
Southwest Skin Specialists, now a part of U.S. Dermatology Partners, is proud to welcome Ramin Fathi, M.D. Dr. Fathi, a board-certified dermatologist, specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery, will be working alongside Dr. Joseph Giancola at the Tatum Blvd office location.

Dr. Fathi graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois with a degree in Accounting. He then received his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his transitional year internship at the Colorado Health Foundation in Denver, Colorado and his Dermatology residency at the University of Colorado Denver.
He subsequently completed a fellowship in Micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas where he received advanced training in Mohs micrographic surgery and complex reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Fathi has written over 25 peer-reviewed scientific papers and book chapters, and has spoken at national meetings. He is a member and has held committee positions in the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Fathi is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
He looks forward to caring for patients in the Valley area, with a particular interest in common and rare skin cancers, as well as reconstructive surgery for Mohs surgery defects.
When he is away from the office, Dr. Fathi enjoys staying active with golf, tennis, basketball and snowboarding. He also enjoys traveling, trying new foods and spending time with his wife.
