Dr. William Li Reveals New Thinking on Food as Medicine at Sentara Healthcare's 'Nutrition as Medicine Conference'
Dr. William Li, President and Medical Director of The Angiogenesis Foundation, discussed how bioactives in foods positively impact the body's health defense systems to fight disease
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Nov. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Angiogenesis Foundation announced today its President and Medical Director Dr. William Li gave a keynote address at Sentara Healthcare's Nutrition as Medicine Conference held in Virginia Beach, Virginia, this week. The conference featured world-renowned medical experts who discussed the health benefits of a plant-based diet. Along with Dr. Li, other leading dietary health experts such as Drs. Dean Ornish, T. Colin Campbell, Neal Barnard, and Caldwell Esselstyn talked about the mounting scientific evidence on how plant-based foods can help improve health outcomes.
