Dr. Amit Jain Joins The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation
Downey, California (PRWEB) January 17, 2018 -- Dr. Amit Jain is a certified Oncologist that brings over five years of medical experience to The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation.
Dr. Jain received his medical education from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India and then received his Master of Public Health from The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa and his fellowship from Hematology-Oncology Fellowship, Indiana University School of Medicine from Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dr. Jain has participated in a number of selected research/publications for prestigious cancer such as: Moffitt Cancer Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center and journals such as: American Journal of Clinical Oncology and Journal of Thoracic Diseases. He has participated in presentations such as ASCO and Diseases Society of America (IDSA) 44th Annual Meeting, Ontario.
Dr. Jain has received multiple awards including the Care Compassion Award from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in 2014, the ASCO Annual Meeting Merit Award in 2014, the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Scholar award from1998 to 2005 and he placed second position in the All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination in 1998.
Among his awards and research projects, Dr. Jain stays active in his community and fundraising activities and is an avid participant of the American cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Making strides for breast cancer, Ride for Hope and the Lymphoma leukemia Society’s Light the night walk.
