Dr. Paul Rottler Welcomes New Nurse Practitioner To His Practice
ST LOUIS, MO (PRWEB) July 08, 2013 -- Dr. Paul Rottler welcomes Kristen Zysk, a nurse practitioner, to the practice in St. Louis. Cosmetic surgery is the focus of the practice, but with new minimally invasive injectable treatments, staffing has been extended. Zysk will be assisting part-time starting this month.
Zysk is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri- St. Louis. She started her career with 4 years at the Women’s Health Partners at St. Anthony’s Hospital, also located in St. Louis. Moving forward in her career, she worked for five years as a Labor and Delivery nurse at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri. She also has rounded out her experience in the cosmetic field by learning to safely administer injectables such as Juvederm and BOTOX. Patients of Dr. Rottler will be able to meet with Zysk for injectable treatments, as she will be working part-time in the office, performing injections a few times a week. She will also be assisting with patient care at Seven Oaks Surgery Center and helping with other duties as deemed necessary.
“I am very proud of my staff and wholly welcome Kristen to the team,” says Dr. Rottler. “The administrative support I get at the practice and the nurses I have with me in surgery are vital to providing the best for my patients. We work as a team. We also work hard to ensure that our patients are comfortable, confident, and well informed about their options.”
Dr. Rottler is assisted by a full team of administrative and medical professionals at his practice. His administration team consists of a receptionist, a surgical medical secretary, and an administrative assistant. There are also two patient coordinators that assist Dr. Rottler during prospective patients consultations, working closely with patients who are considering plastic surgery. Certified plastic surgery nurses and perioperative nurses are also part of the team. These women assist Dr. Rottler before surgery, during surgery, and provide medical support for patients after surgery is complete. With the popularity of injectables, many of the staff members are qualified to administer injectables. They also employ a full-time esthetician to perform laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, facial skin analysis, and permanent makeup.
“Whether you’re coming in for an injectable consultation or want to talk to us about breast augmentation, nurses from my team are the first people you will met,” says Dr. Rottler. “When you feel confident about your decision to pursue a surgical procedure, that’s when I will come in. I always get a great introduction to new patients from my staff. I’m really happy that I employ such a great group of supportive women.”
