Cannabis Expert "Dr. Dina" Appears On KTLA News During AIDS WALK LA
West Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) October 13, 2014 -- Who says cannabis users can't wake up early on a Sunday morning and walk six miles in the blazing heat for good cause? Dr. Dina, named "Queen of Medical Marijuana in LA" by Rolling Stone Magazine, breaks the stereotype and leads a large group of cannabis activists and patients in AIDS Walk LA - and appears on KTLA to raise awareness of the medicinal benefits of cannabis.
Dr. Dina walked with team AHHSWEHO, West Hollywood's oldest medical marijuana dispensary, which is celebrating it's 10th year of operation and has helped countless patients living with HIV and AIDS over the past decade.
In her interview on KTLA news, she says "I see people every day who are suffering from HIV and AIDS. And with the advances, and the cannabis people are using, we are seeing that people are living healthy lives."
Dr. Dina is one of the pioneers of California's medical marijuana industry and inspiration for the Nancy Botwin character in the hit show "WEEDS" on SHOWTIME. She can be found at http://www.drdina420.com
