Dropsuite and Squalio Group Announce Data Protection Partnership

Thousands of Eastern European businesses will now able to safeguard their Office 365 email in the Cloud.

Dropsuite Limited (ASX: DSE), a leading cloud data backup platform for businesses announced that Squalio Group, a leading cloud service provider in Eastern Europe, will now offer its customers Dropsuite Email Backup and Archiving for Office 365. Twenty-one year old Squalio Group operates in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Austria, Bulgaria and Kazakhstan.

Three billion Yahoo accounts were breached in an epic email hack that happened in 2013, proving that unexpected data loss can hit anyone, anywhere in the world, at any time. In June 2018, MyHeritage reported that a cyberattack exfiltrated the emails and hashed passwords of all 92 million registered users of it site. Email backup and quick recovery of data acts as a type of “insurance plan” to counter the high cost of business downtime that can result from a ransomware attack, accidental deletion of files or other types of unexpected data breach, or email loss.

Squalio customers are now able to protect their Office 365 data using Dropsuite Email Backup and Archiving for Office 365, with key features such as one-click provisioning, automated incremental backup, unlimited email storage and retention, one-click email restore, the ability to download recovered data, military-grade security and encryption and universal search. Besides Microsoft Exchange, Dropsuite also backs up SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.

“Today's businesses need access to proactive cloud solutions that can protect their organizations from threats attempting to harm their businesses," said Sandis Kolomenskis, CEO of Squalio Group. "Dropsuite Email Backup and Archiving for Office 365 offers an incredible value for the breadth of features offered, it's GDPR compliant, and it includes their new email business intelligence tool, Insights BI."

“Dropsuite prides itself in helping to preventing business downtimes,” claimed Ridley Ruth, COO of Dropsuite. “Squalio recognizes the growing threat of data loss and we're excited to protect their Microsoft clients by securing a copy of their Office 365 data in the cloud should they ever need to retrieve it.”

In June, Dropsuite joined forces with Vietnam's Mat Bao to bring Office 365 data protection services to businesses in Southeast Asia. In April, Dropsuite expanded into South America through a partnership UOL, Brazil’s largest digital services company.
