Duffy Consulting Services, LLC Earns Maryland Department of Commerce's Qualified Maryland Cybersecurity Seller (QMCS)

NEW MARKET, Md., Nov. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Duffy Consulting Services, LLC, a provider of security consulting and compliance services is now identified as a Qualified Maryland Cybersecurity Seller (QMCS) by the Department of Commerce.

Purchases made through a QMCS business like Duffy Consulting Services, may be eligible for the Maryland Cybersecurity Tax Credit if they have fewer than 50 employees and files income tax returns in the state of Maryland. This tax credit is for the purchase of cybersecurity technologies that are proprietary goods and services designed to protect information systems, electronically stored data or information, and electronic data and information transferred between information systems.

Duffy Consulting Services, LLC provides their qualified cybersecurity service as identified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) through their compliance audits and remediation services for the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) regulation.
