According to a description from DLT, “9 to 5 The Musical” includes music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, as well as from a book by Patricia Resnick, which is based off the movie.

Bringing office humor to the stage, the Duncan Little Theatre (DLT) will spice up the workforce with its rendition of “9 to 5 The Musical.”

DLT’s production will be at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 24-25 and March 3-4 at the Simmons Center Theatre. A matinee will play at 2 p.m. on Feb. 26.

According to a play overview, the stage is set in the late 1970s. “This hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking, and even a little romantic,” the synopsis states.
