Thomas Rimel has been named the president of Dunmore. With more than 20 years of industry and cross-functional experience, Rimel along with the Dunmore leadership team will continue to grow the Dunmore business through close collaboration with their customers and producing market leading products.
BRISTOL, Pa., March 11, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dunmore announced today that Thomas S. Rimel, Jr. has been chosen as the new president. Prior to his new role, Rimel held the Chief Operating Officer position with Dunmore since 2017. With over 20 years of industry and leadership experience, he is well positioned to lead the evolution and growth of the organization.
Rimel attended the University of Maryland where he earned a B.S. In Chemical Engineering and later earned an M.B.A. from LaSalle University in Philadelphia. He started his career working in technical and commercial roles for companies such as DuPont, International Paper, and Adhesives Research, Inc. Since joining Dunmore, Rimel has held leadership roles in sales, operations, and research and development (R&D). Rimel has played an integral role in the strategy and execution of sales growth in new markets, manufacturing improvements, and strategic acquisitions.
Rimel's cross functional experience at Dunmore in combination with new tools brought in by parent company Steel Partners will be invaluable for the future of the organization. Dunmore's sustained success has come from the company's strong partnerships, emphasis on product development, process capabilities, and operational efficiencies.
