Introducing DuPont™ ArmorWall™ Plus Fire-Rated Structural Insulated Sheathing and DuPont™ Tyvek® IntegrationWrap™
WILMINGTON, Del., Jan. 31, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- DuPont Performance Building Solutions (PBS), a global business unit of DuPont de Nemours, Inc. and a leader in the global construction space will exhibit at the 2023 International Builders Show (IBS) in Las Vegas Nevada, January 30 – February 2, 2023. During the show, DuPont will feature a series of wall displays designed to showcase the "Proven Protection" DuPont solutions provide for the residential construction industry.

Water Protection
- DuPont introduces DuPont™ Tyvek® IntegrationWrap™, a simple and effective product for integrating DuPont self-adhered window flashings with Tyvek® WRBs for window first installations. This flashing integration membrane helps provide an easy means of preparing rough openings prior to the installation of the primary Tyvek® WRB, which can help reduce building dry-in times and facilitate the sequence of trades during the construction process. This innovative product was created alongside customers to make high performance building simple.
Fire Resistance
- DuPont™ ArmorWall™ Plus Fire-Rated Structural Insulated Sheathing™ will be featured as a new fire-resistant member of the DuPont portfolio. Featuring a 1/2" layer of Magnesium Oxide (MgO) sheathing on the exterior side, ArmorWall™ Plus FR SIS incorporates five traditional building enclosure elements into a single panel product: structural sheathing, fire-resistance, air barrier, water-resistive barrier, and a high-performance continuous insulation layer. The five-in-one system of ArmorWall™ Plus FR SIS can replace several traditional individual components that, on their own, add cost, labor and complexity to a project.
Thermal
- The newly enhanced, innovative Froth-Pak™ Spray Foam reformulation utilizes carbon dioxide (CO2), a naturally produced gas, in its spray foam blowing agent package that helps achieve a reduction in global warming potential (GWP) of more than 99 percent as compared to blowing agents used in past formulations. The reformulation supports DuPont's commitment to seek safe solutions to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions while driving sustainable innovation.
- New DuPont™ Styrofoam™ Brand ST-100 XPS featuring a reduced GWP formulation, while offering the same thermal performance, moisture resistance and ease-of-use you expect.
