DuPont (NYSE: DD) today introduced DuPont™ DuraGard™ CM Transition Flashing, a versatile, durable flashing that helps protect buildings against air and water intrusion. The newly launched flashing material seals critical transitions and interfaces that are key to helping to achieve complete building protection. The addition of DuraGard™ CM Flashing complements a fully compatible, one-source product portfolio from DuPont Performance Building Solutions.

DuraGard™ CM Transition Flashing is a self-adhered material that enables easy installation with primerless adhesion to most commercial construction substrates. Equipped with a felt top-sheet for easy adhesion, DuraGard™ CM Flashing can be applied at temperatures as low as 25°F and withstand in-service temperatures as high as 250°F. The product offers a minimum six-month UV protection and meets AAMA 711-20 requirements for self-adhered flashing.

DuraGard™ CM Flashing complements the warranted wall systems from DuPont, including the DuPont™ Thermax™ Wall System, the DuPont™ Commercial Wall² System and the DuPont™ Ultra Wall System. Available in a variety of widths from 6 inches to 36 inches, DuraGard™ CM Flashing can be used in through-wall, base-of-wall, roof/wall junction, window head and intermediate roof applications.
