DXL Group Continues to Build Legacy at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® During Annual St. Jude Thanks and Giving® Campaign

CANTON, Mass., Nov. 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Destination XL Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: DXLG), the leading retailer of men's big + tall apparel, announced today it is continuing their partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® for the St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign, an unprecedented union of celebrities, media, and more than 60 of the nation's leading brands and companies that ask consumers to donate while they shop during the holiday season to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude.

This is the fifteenth year DXL has participated in the campaign, which began as a holiday season fundraising effort and has grown into a longstanding annual tradition. Since joining the campaign, DXL has raised more than $12 million thanks to the tremendous support of its customers and associates. These funds are critical given that no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

Since 2017, DXL has raised $3 million in donations for the hospital, representing a quarter of their donation commitment of $12 million by year-end 2026. At this rate, it is likely they will surpass their donation goal. In recognition of the donation commitment, the name "DXL Men's Apparel" has been attached to the Light Microscopy Center at the Memphis-based hospital.

The campaign launched on Monday, October 28 and will run through Sunday, January 5. DXL's customers can support the campaign by donating at their local store. In addition, DXL will have a variety of fundraisers at the corporate office.
