Holiday campaign raises critical funds for lifesaving research and treatment of childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases

What could be more important than saving a child’s life? There’s nothing that can compare…and that’s why St. Jude is part of our culture here at DXL.

Destination XL Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: DXLG), the leading retailer of men’s XL apparel, announced today that it will once again partner with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® for the St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign, an unprecedented union of celebrities, media, and more than 60 of the nation’s leading brands and companies that ask consumers to donate while they shop during the holiday season to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude.

This is the fourteenth year DXL has participated in the campaign, which began as a holiday season fundraising effort and has grown into a longstanding annual tradition. Since joining the campaign, DXL has raised more than $10.5 million in 14 years thanks to the tremendous support of its customers and associates. These funds are critical given that no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

In 2017 DXL raised a record-breaking $1.4 million in donations for the hospital, a great start to reaching their donation commitment of $12 million within the next ten years. In recognition of their donation commitment, the name “DXL Men’s Apparel” has been attached to the Light Microscopy Center at the Memphis-based hospital.

The campaign launched on Sunday, October 28 and will run through Saturday, January 5. DXL Group’s customers can support the campaign by donating at their local store. In addition, the DXL Group will have a variety of fundraisers at their corporate office.
