OSHKOSH, Wis., May 11, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- EAA's Learn to Fly Week, which includes five days of free webinars for those who have the dream of flight, begins on Monday, May 15. Learn to Fly Week is presented by Sporty's.
"The biggest requests from those who have thought about learning to fly revolve around essential information, especially about time, cost, and other requirements,' said David Leiting, EAA Eagles Program Manager. "Learn to Fly Week is designed to deliver that information in a concise, easy-to-understand format that leaves time to answer the questions that arise."
Expert flight instructors and representatives from aviation organizations will present free and interactive webinars to help jumpstart your flight training journey. Topics covered include how to get started in flight training, tips for saving time and money in flight training, preparing for the FAA written exam, examiner tips for passing the check ride, and much more.
The weeklong series concludes on Saturday, May 20, with EAA Flying Start programs held at numerous chapters throughout the country. At those locations, prospective pilots can connect with the local aviation community, discover flight training opportunities available in their area, and take a free introductory Eagle Flight, part of EAA's program for adults connecting them with aviation resources.
