Earth Advantage Certified Homes Featured During the HBA Ultimate Open House New Home Tour
Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) April 23, 2014 -- Earth Advantage is proud to support the tour and its builders who are dedicated to working with the Earth Advantage Home Certification standard. The program can help builders differentiate themselves while building more sustainable homes for a public increasingly interested in energy efficiency and healthier residences. Two of the three Idea Homes featured on the tour, built by Stone Bridge Homes NW and Gertz Fine Homes are certified Earth Advantage. Kelly Ritz, president of Stone Bridge Homes NW said, “We have been participating in the Ultimate Open House Tour since 2008. It’s a great way for consumers to get to know what builders have been up to in terms of architecture, style, and other offerings. We hope to spread the message of sustainable building and energy efficiency through our Earth Advantage Gold Certified Idea Home at Miller Point this year.”
The tour is a celebrated kick-off to the new homes buying season in greater Portland. This is an excellent opportunity for homebuyers to see how Earth Advantage third-party green building certification helps builders create energy efficient, healthy, durable, and resource-wise homes. Five Earth Advantage builders are represented on this year’s tour; Noyes Development Co., Stone Bridge Homes NW, Gertz Fine Homes, Bluestone Homes and Everett Custom Homes.
