GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Sept. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Eastbrook Homes is excited to announce their 3rd annual Taste & Tour schedule of events. Started in 2017 to celebrate their 50th year anniversary, Taste & Tour has become an annual tradition to build a sense of community while supporting local non-profits. Nineteen different events are scheduled throughout October, each supporting a local charity.
Taste and Tour is more than an event: it's a collective effort to give back and inspire change, right in our own backyard. In the spirit of giving, Eastbrook Homes has created a diverse range of events throughout the month of October. From local beer and wine tastings to a spooky Halloween event, there are lots of great opportunities to have fun as a community and support great causes.
To help support West Michigan and Greater Lansing area charities, Eastbrook Homes launched the first Taste and Tour event in 2017. Due to the event's success, they decided to make it an annual event.
For 2019, Eastbrook has gone a step further by hosting a variety of events throughout October, creating a full Month of Giving. At each Taste and Tour event, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the people and discover the missions behind local organizations that change lives every day.
"We have always believed that providing people with homes is an important part of the fabric of a community. In partnering with non-profits, we see the impact spread even further, to all corners of a community," said Bob Sorensen, VP of Sales & Marketing at Eastbrook Homes.
Taste and Tour visitors will learn about non-profit organizations such as Ele's Place, where grieving children can learn to heal, or D.A. Blodgett-St. John's, which helps prove to every kid that they have great potential when the world has told them otherwise.
Guests can also donate to any of the non-profit organizations that participate, and just like previous Taste and Tour events, Eastbrook Homes will match up to $10,000 in donations to each one.
Taste and Tour will also feature food and drink from local restaurants near each community. Guests can sample fine food, wine, and curated beer samples at fun events like a house concert, barbeque, and pizza party.
"We live in a great community, in large part because of the commitment and collaborative efforts by the private, public and non-profit sectors as well as the generous nature of our neighbors. Taste and Tour embodies this collaborative effort and is a fun yet meaningful way to get involved in something greater than ourselves," Bob continued.
Eastbrook Homes believes in giving back to the local community in real, meaningful ways. Please join for Taste and Tour 2019 and help make a real difference in the community by supporting one or all of the incredible non-profit organizations featured at each location.
Guests can also check out the newest Eastbrook Homes floor plans, home models, latest phases, and much more. For more information about Taste and Tour 2019 and to reserve your space, please visit the Eastbrook Homes Taste & Tour page and find a calendar of the events hosted at each community.
Come out to Taste and Tour 2019 and help Eastbrook Homes create real change in local communities that are right in our backyard!
