Eco-Strip Wins Chapter One Client of the Year Award from DC Chapter of SCORE

The award was presented to Eco-Strip at a recognition luncheon held on Thursday, June 13th, 2019 in Washington DC.
The Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) provides free mentorship and counseling to small businesses and entrepreneurs. Founded in 1964, SCORE has served over 11 million clients throughout the United States.
The DC Chapter of SCORE is recognizing nine clients this year. Each client was nominated by their SCORE mentor. Winners are selected based on significant business result achievements, ability to overcome business obstacles, and ability to set themselves apart from their peers in ways that are worthy of recognition.
"We had nine nominations; each of them selected from our mentor's best performing clients," said Gary Salisbury, Washington DC SCORE Chapter Chairman and Certified Mentor. "In 2018, our Chapter had 3,700 unique clients that were mentored. Of these clients, around 0.2% were selected for nomination."
Eco-Strip was nominated by Ed Coleman, Washington DC District Director of SCORE. Ed manages seven (7) SCORE Chapters in the DC area. Prior to volunteering at SCORE, Ed Coleman was VP of Sears Distribution.
