These lightweight and durable reflective sleeves are made from the same poly bubble radiant barrier foil material that EcoFoil customers already use to block radiant heat out of their attics, garages, and pole barns.
Now, customers can apply the same heat-blocking science to perishable food, ice packs, artwork, and just about anything that could benefit from staying shielded from the sun's damaging rays. They are ideal for pharmaceutical products, but can really be used for any temperature sensitive or fragile item.
"We started getting phone calls from customers who were wanting rolls of our bubble foil so they could cut it up and use it to safely ship their paintings and other artwork," said EcoFoil Vice President, Eric Youngblood. We decided to start offering these thermal bubble mailers because we want to give our customers what they are asking for and provide a solution to their problems."
The bubble wrap pouches are available in eight different sizes, ranging from 6 inches by 6 ½ inches up to 18 inches by 22 inches. They all come with a pre-applied adhesive strip for quick and easy sealing.
Also, customers seeking to install EcoFoil bubble foil or radiant barrier products to a metal surface can now look to EcoFoil for tubes of high-tack insulation adhesive. Made by NovaFlex, this clear adhesive is the best method that EcoFoil has found for attaching their energy-saving product to pole barns and metal buildings.
Youngblood says this isn't the first insulation adhesive they've researched but, after multiple tests, it's definitely the best.
"We researched a different brand of adhesive but after testing it ourselves we decided it wasn't something we could stand behind," said Youngblood. "It wasn't holding up as tight as it should so we started looking for a product that fit our standards. This high-tack insulation adhesive by NovaFlex really impressed us. We tested it using all our products on a metal wall application and then put it out in the hot sun for days. It bonded quickly and stayed firmly in place, so we knew this is what we wanted to offer to our customers."
