Encanto designs and manufactures original and very colorful jewelry from tagua, a sustainably-sourced seed originating in the rainforests of Colombia, Ecuador and Brazil. Tagua is known as “vegetable ivory” because of the shiny, hard and enduring quality of the seeds in their raw, ivory-colored state. Biodegradable, non-toxic and color-fast dyes are used to give the tagua a rich variety of hues.
