SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Nov. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Edgenuity, an approved Virtual Instruction Program (VIP) Provider in the state of Florida, announced today that it has earned an "A" grade for its virtual instruction during the 2018-2019 school year in grades 6-12 from the Florida Department of Education's Bureau of Accountability Reporting.
The Florida Department of Education's school grading system is designed to convey the achievement level of Florida's schools. School and district grades describe instructional personnel and administrators' impact on student learning, including ratings based upon aggregated assessment scores among other factors. Edgenuity's "A" grade was earned on the basis of both curriculum development and the success of instruction, including student performance on state assessments and engagement with the material.
