EDT Partners and the ASTI Foundation have signed a partnership agreement where both parties agree to be international ambassadors and promoters of STEM education. The ASTI Foundation will also work with EDT Partners, one of the world’s most renowned in educational innovation, to explore opportunities to implement their programmes globally. Through the partnership, both organizations have established a roadmap to achieve the following objectives:

  • Increase the number of STEM vocations, promoting programmes from early ages.
  • Improve the learning experience of face-to-face and digital environments by combining scientific methodology with everyday applications to develop skills such as problem solving, creativity, collaboration and communication.
  • Provide the STEM community with tools to strengthen and professionalise cooperation between education and the industry.
  • Support and design teacher training frameworks.
  • Organise and participate in STEM events and activities.
  • Manage studies and analysis to be used as guides for the sector to exponentially accelerate new STEM learning methods and ultimately the employability and development of the labour force.

EDT Partners are very excited about this partnership to help contribute to and boost STEM teaching internationally, guaranteeing innovative proposals, programs and workflows to promote and enrich both EDT and the ASTI Foundation’s missions. In addition, EDT Partners is aware of the need to support STEM education from early learning through to the business environment. For the ASTI Foundation, the partnership agreement with EDT Partners is a big step towards ensuring its aim of promoting STEM vocations, specifically among females, and reaching all areas of the world. It is also a strategic alliance to explore other opportunities related to educational innovation, something the institution has believed in and worked towards from its inception.

EDT Partners is a global, purpose-driven consulting firm dedicated to the business of education. EDT helps edtech firms, publishers, NGOs, universities, and governments accelerate innovation pipelines, grow sustainably into new territories and consolidate plans for organic and inorganic expansion. The ASTI Foundation was born in 2017 from awareness of the opportunities and also of the important challenges from the era of digital transformation, knowing that many jobs will disappear and new ones will be generated. And the key to a sustainable transition is and will be in the education of our youth and training in employment through talent development and technology. Its two main programmes are STEM Talent Girl, which seeks to promote scientific and technological vocations among girls and young women, and ASTI Robotics Challenge, which aims to promote STEP talent within the field of mobile robotics.
