BEAVERTON, Ore., Sept. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Catapult X is now accepting submissions for the Educators Pick Best of STEM™ 2021, the only awards program judged by STEM educators, for STEM educators. The awards program, operated in partnership with the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) and MCH Strategic Data, spotlights innovative products, technologies, and services that are changing the world of STEM education.
All applications are due by September 23, 2021 at http://www.bestofstemawards.com. Early-bird applications, which are due by September15, 2021, receive a $100 discount.
"The best judges of STEM products are STEM educators. They know exactly what works and what doesn't work in a classroom. And, that's why we created the Educators Pick Best of STEM," said Daylene Long, founder of Catapult X.
Led by Annie Teich, President of The Teich Group, this year's judges include Jerry Valadez, advocate for underserved youth and CEO of the Community Science Workshop Network; Deena Pierott, Founder of iUrban Teen and Black Women in STEM 2.0; Judy Day, retired Associate Director from the Office of Undergraduate Research at NC State University; Rachel Aazerah, a science and math educator experienced in NGSS and CCSS-Math Assessment; and Djimo Serrodio, environmental technologist working on edtech and agriculture.
To enter, applicants must submit a description of the product, service, or technology; the grade levels it serves (PreK-college/university level); the product website; and the company name.
Entries are $595 with discounts for multiple entries.

Winners are selected based on reviews by the educator judges, as well as by a popular vote offered to more than 250,000 educators within NSTA's and MCH Strategic Data's educator lists. Winners will be announced October 14, 2021 and will be featured on the Best of STEM and Catapult X's websites, as well as NSTA's website. The January 2022 issues of Science and Children, Science Scope, and The Science Teacher will also advertise the winners. In addition, winners will receive an exclusive badge to showcase their achievement in their digital and print media.
