Multifamily communities fundraised for and participated in annual Polar Plunge philanthropic effort
NEWPORT NEWS, Va., March 15, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- DF Multifamily, a division of Drucker + Falk (DF), had eight of their apartment communities take 'the plunge' to benefit the Special Olympics this past February. These communities were spread across Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia and participants included DF employees who, in addition to jumping into the property pools, also worked to fundraise the week of the plunge.
The Choices at Holland Windsor, Montecito West Apartments, Shellbrook Apartments, Evolve at Tega Cay, The Greens at Fort Mill, The Nicholas, Ellipse Urban Apartments, and Venture Apartments iN Tech Center communities collectively raised over $8,200 and counting and promoted their efforts along with the moment of their plunges in their respective communities and on social media. Residents and anyone interested were able to show their support by donating and watching these teams take the plunge.
Different branches of the Special Olympics host their event throughout the month of February and together the event supports thousands upon thousands of Special Olympic athletes and raises hundreds of thousands of dollars through the participating teams' fundraising efforts and online donations.
