It can measure systolic heart function, which has been clinically tested versus expert measurements, yielding improved results in precision and consistency.
KOSMOS' handheld probe and proprietary clinical viewing tool (tablet) can move quickly and easily through busy hospital wards. Its hospital-grade materials can withstand frequent disinfection with harsh cleaning chemicals, making KOSMOS not only an excellent imager of the torso but also a time-efficient tool in overwhelmed emergency rooms and ICUs that are desperate to shrink the infection footprint quickly.
The KOSMOS platform includes an 8-ounce ultrasound-imaging tool with custom-designed ASIC, synchronized ECG and digital auscultation, and a proprietary tablet featuring the Qualcomm® SDA835 System-on-chip (SoC) built to withstand heavy use in clinical settings while protecting patient data.
The eInfochips team created a cloud platform to enable deep-learning algorithm development. The team also worked on software tools and applications that make the platform easy to use.
eInfochips also helped develop a scalable remote device management platform that enables rapid provisioning and management, including over-the-air firmware updates, of the devices in the field. In addition, the eInfochips team has contributed to the device firmware and implementation of the user interface.
Both applications leverage the Microsoft Azure cloud platform and its IoT services to provide edge-to-cloud solutions that empower customers such as EchoNous to seamlessly build, deploy and scale connected healthcare solutions.
