SAN DIEGO, Sept. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Eldorado Stone LLC, part of Boral, announced today that it will be relocating its distribution facility in Royal City, Washington, to Tacoma. The relocation will help increase the speed and efficiency with which the company provides product to its customers and is expected to take place in mid-November. As a result of the relocation, the business will cease manufacturing at the Royal City facility. The company is taking steps to retain its employees by offering transfer opportunities within other company facilities, including the one in Tacoma.
"The demand for architectural stone veneer continues to rise, making it more important than ever for us to evaluate our capabilities and ensure that we're positioned to provide high quality products swiftly and efficiently," said Victoria Sherwood, President of Boral, Stone Division. "We appreciate the craftsmanship and expertise of the people who have worked with us in this facility and we hope to retain them in other positions within the organization."
