Elio Motors to Exhibit at Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas
(PRWEB) September 24, 2015 -- Elio Motors, which is slated to launch a three-wheel vehicle in late 2016 for targeted $6,800 base price and get up to 84 MPG, will have its P4 prototype on display from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day in booth 303 located near the Four Seasons entrance.
The vehicle features an eye-catching, aerodynamic design and unique two-person, front-to-back seating reminiscent of a small airplane cockpit. The unique design makes the vehicle a good fit for Barrett-Jackson, the leader in collector car auctions and automotive lifestyle events.
“We know Barrett-Jackson attendees come for the historic, exotically designed vehicles going on the auction block, but they’ll also get the opportunity to experience a future automotive classic in the Elio P4 prototype,” said Paul Elio, founder and CEO of Elio Motors. “Wherever we go, there is a line of people out the door or around the block to get a glimpse of what we plan to bring to market. Our unique design is typically well received by automotive enthusiasts such as those that attend Barrett-Jackson.”
Elio Motors has taken more than 45,000 reservations for a place in line to purchase a vehicle. The company will build the vehicle in Shreveport, La., with a target production date of fourth quarter 2016.
Elio Motors recently filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to seek authorization to make a formal stock offering to raise $25 million. Should Elio Motors receive authorization, the funds raised will be used to develop 25 engineering prototype vehicles for a variety of testing and validation.
